The night falling closer and closer as the sky fell darker by the minute Holly walked back to her dorm from the paddling around on the beach. Holly loves the beach and it's even better to go their at dusk because it's more beautiful and Holly loves to appreciate Art but she was getting bored now and decided that she had to go out somewhere, she needed to be around people because all of her friends just decided to ditch her and go out some place of their own. Holly's a touch chick, though, so she can get by easily herself.
After a while of being in her dorm, it began to get boring and talking to people at home through her laptop only intensified her boredom, nobody had nothing interesting to say and she needed to get out before she pulled her hair out and the perfect place was the sound cafe. It was fun and there was always loads of people to talk to and Holly felt like she could use some fun and you never know who you're going to bump into and she might even make some new friends and since it was Friday night she could stay out as long as she waned without having to get up for practice next day.
Not bothering to dress up like all the other girls do; it's not like Holly to dress up, most of the time, and she wandered slowly around until she came to the sound cafe, it's kinda a childish disco; not like the ones back home, you're not allowed any drink or anything here which was annoying. Pushing open the glass doors she walked in to find not many people around but she got a soda and sat down at one of the tall tables with the taller chairs, having to push herself up on them because she's so short. She thought she was early since the music hadn't started yet and there was only a few people around that she didn't recognise. Maybe things will pick up soon.
ooc; it well sucks ahaa, but at least it's a start ; D

It was getting late, and as usual Jacob was yearning for something to do. He wrapped an arm around his stomach as it growled hungrily; he always got freaking hungry when night came about. It was getting ridiculous. Pulling himself up from his bed, well it would be his for the next three months or so, he dragged himself over to the his unpacked suitcase. He was still lazy enough to have left all of his clothes unpacked, they would of course gradually find themselves scattered on the floor as he wore them, so really, the unpacking wasn’t a problem.
Grabbing a blue hoodie from the pile of folded clothes, and chucking the material over his head he decided he might as well take a trip to the café or something. It was Friday night, they always held an event on Fridays, the kids couldn’t go out anywhere, and they were deserted on an island, so some entertainment had to be available. Running a hand through his hair, ruffling it quickly as he walked past the mirror on the dormitory wall, Jake left the room and headed for the flight of stairs that would lead him to the right corridor.
Entering the small café he smiled, a disco, it was quite funny. It wasn’t exactly a classy party or anything amazing but at least they tried, and the music wasn’t that unbearable, although not exactly loud. Jake grabbed a can of drink from the table provided, along with a handful of whatever crispy snacks where in the bowel beside the row of drinks and scanned the room for anyone he knew. Nope. He couldn’t recognise anyone from where he stood, but his hazel eyes did seem to fall on one person in particular. Walking over to the pretty blonde sitting on one of the high chairs he smiled, he could’ve sworn he recognised her. Maybe she’d come to camp last year.
Reaching the table he grinned, placing his unopened can of soda on the surface, “Anyone sitting here?” he asked, flashing a flirty glance directly at the other girl. “I’m Jake, by the way. You seem familiar?” He commented, "I'm sure I wouldn't forget such a pretty face" He added, it was a must.

Feeling like she wanted to go back to her dorm or go find somebody to talk to rather than wait for them to approach her she looked up and saw that a few people had already turned up, nobody that she particularly liked or new, she had just seen them about before and maybe had a few classes with them but that's it and it annoyed her that nobody the same age as her or anybody she knew was around, she felt stupid and was ready to get up and leave when she spotted somebody else come in through the door and she smiled when she recognised him. She knew Jake from last year, they're not really the bets of friends but she can make a conversation with him.
Watching him with curious eyes as he walked over to the table to get his drink she couldn't help but realise that he was a extra cute than she remembered him from last year, sexy even, in her opinion but she would never say that out loud. She used to have a small crush on him when she first came to the camp but what young girl didn't? She got over it though and she could see what she used to and it made her feel shy in his presence, and it's never liked Holly to be quiet at all. Smiling gently at him as he came to her table she kept her cool and acted like she normally would. "Nope, nobody sitting here, go ahead" Although, what he said next she wasn't really expecting and she knew she probably looked like she was blushing, a common trait she shared with her brother, Hart, although he had it a lot worse than her. "Thanks?" she questioned his last comment, she knew most people just saw her blonde hair and automatically thought she was a stupid bimbo or something, maybe Jake was different. "I was here last year, maybe seen me around then? what you doing here anyway?" she asked, trying to be nice.

Jake placed himself on the chair next to her before she’d even agreed to him sitting there. But in the end she’d pretty much willingly invited him to sit there, and he flashed another smile at her, taking in her appearance properly. She was quite pretty, had a cute face, her hair was nice too; Jake thought, summing up his analysis. He smiled again and grabbed the can of red bull he’d fetched from the table with his left hand, cracking it open to take a sip. He laughed quietly as she blushed, recognising that trait from somewhere else, but glad she took his compliment. Some girls just didn’t appreciate his flirting and subtle comments, well it was better than being completely forward right?
Oh, Jake remembered now. The girl was here last year, the faint memory brightened slightly as he recalled his last recollection of the blonde. She must be a year younger than him, he wasn’t too sure. “I happen to remember you from somewhere, must be Camp” He grinned, “Second time here?” He asked, taking a guess, sipping at his cold drink and shoving one of the chips he’d picked up in his mouth. “Can I put a name to a face?” He grinned, mentally cursing himself for forgetting her name, he wasn’t exactly the best with remembering alias’. “Me, oh, you know, funky kids disco’s are the best I’m going to get around here” He said with a grin, glancing around the half empty café again then turning to face Holly. He held up his can, “Free red bull, couldn’t miss out” he added, somewhat sarcastically. "So, you waiting for anyone?" He asked curiously, really not in the mood to come face to face with a boyfriend or bunch of annoying friends.

Smiling shyly but in an awkward way, Holly didn't really know what to say to Jake. She didn't know him much, said hi to a couple of times but never a proper conversation and she was afraid she'd say something stupid like "i love you" or something; something that would get her into trouble or just in a strange situation. Looking up at him she smiled gently, she caught his eyes looking at her and she didn't know what to think but she knew she liked it in a strange way, it was odd but in a good way, it was new and she almost found herself staring back at him before she blinked heavily and sat up straight again, trying to take herself away from her reverie.
In such a daydream for no apparent reason she could think of she almost didn't hear what Jake was saying to her, throwing her bottle of soda from hand to hand she tried to make herself look like she wasn't really interested but she knew she was, she just doesn't like to give her game away easily. " ....eh, yeah. my second year" she muttered quickly with a shrug of her shoulders. She didn't know if she should be happy or annoyed that he didn't seem to know her name or didn't seem to remember it, but she wasn't bothered, she'd make sure he remembered now. "I'm Holly, Jake.......glad you remembered" she laughed with a cheeky grin. "Oh, and i'm so sure somebody like you is in here all the time. You seem like such a raver" she smiled with a wink, lacing her words with happy sarcasm. ".... but nah, not waiting for anybody. I got bored and well... yeah, I ended up here but I could always say I was waiting for you, you can be my saviour and save me from the bored" she chimed happily as she spun her finger around the top of her bottle of soda. "What you doing here anyway? you waiting for somebody or are you bored too?" she laughed softly, she was always bored and she knew it made you go places that seemed impossible at first.

He smiled, trailing two of his fingers around the opening of his can of drink, as she answered his question. So, it was her second year here, Jake’s third, meaning she was one year younger than him, if his observations were correct. With a flick of his hair he glanced at her again, catching her shy smile as he did, grinning himself. “That’s cool” He said with a smile, “Second’s not as good as the first” He laughed, finding his own hidden meaning quite hilarious, well, somewhat funny, “Well, It depends I guess” He added with a short chuckle. Oh, so her name was Holly. Jake realised then and there why he’d noticed such similarities. Holly was Hart’s sister, well, this could turn out to be a bit of a complication, but right now Jake didn’t really care about it that much. “Holly” He repeated, smiling, “I totally knew that …I’m no good with names” He joked, which was really the truth, he sucked at names.
“Me, a raver?” He laughed, finding her sarcasm quite amusing, also slightly impressive, “Why, of course darling” He continued, playing along, throwing a few pet names in on purpose, “You have to love the rave scene gurl” he finished, stopping there. He couldn’t help but smirk as she winked at him, least she wasn’t scared of him or well, showing the whole world she hated his guts. Jake had an inkling she liked him back, which was a start, made things easier. He was glad she wasn’t waiting for anyone, not that that would have bothered him much at all, he’d have still stayed sitting there, bothering her whether she particularly liked it or not. “I’m sure I could be your saviour” He said, liking this girl more and more, “I might have to whisk you away on my white stallion, fair maiden” winking himself, and smirking a little, finally placing his red bull can back on the table. “I don’t wait for anyone” He replied a tad arrogantly, he hoped she knew he was joking, “Nah, bored as hell” he said grinning again. He looked around again; the place was beginning to fill up. “So, if I remember, you’re a singer right?” taking a gamble, she looked like a singer, it’d better be a good guess.

Happy that she finally managed to try and start a casual conversation with Jake she felt relaxed while she sat back in her chair as she listened intently to what he had to say but trying not to stare at him too much, she knew she would probably freak him out or something if she kept staring, or maybe he was used to it from all the other girls? she didn't care, she didn't want to make herself look like an idiot so she kept it casual. She thought it was strange though that he said that second year wasn't as good as first year, she loves it so far but there's not many things that Holly doesn't like to some degree. "second year seems alright so far.... she admitted with a shrug, .....you can get away with more this year" she added with a cheeky wink as she leaned her elbow on the table.
Smiling gently as he repeated her name and laughing at his added part about being rubbish with names, she could tell, it was quite funny in her opinion. "yeah, I can tell that but it's okay, I'll make sure you won't forget this time". She almost giggled when he called her darling, it made her feel special and she felt even more special that he decided to stay and talk to her. She started to laugh in her girly way when he talked about being a prince with a horse, the most silly thing she heard all day but it made her giggle so much she almost fell off the back of her chair, ironically almost proving jake's point. "Oh, I'm sure you'd love to do that, Mr prince charming" she added as she tried to stop laughing.
Nodding her head softly, she showed she realised what it was like to be bored. "yeah, bored's not fun at all" she said in a childish way as she pouted her bottom lip in a comical way. Sitting up properly as he asked her about being a singer she nodded her head again. "Yeah, I like to say I'm a singer but I can play a bit of guitar too but yeah... singing's more fun" she smiled as she leaned both her elbows on the table and leaned her chin in her hands, half way across the table. "So.... what'd you do then Mister? anything fun? I really don't see you as a singer but I bet you could be a sexy guitarist.... right?" She knew she was just playing along with his game but she found it even more fun and she felt herself more drawn to him as her bright blue eyes met his dark contrasting hazel eyes.

Jake was now almost positive that he’d have a good night tonight, or well, he wouldn’t be stuck alone in his dorm again. He’d found something to occupy himself, well someone. He could hold up a conversation long enough to entertain himself, besides this conversation wasn’t half bad yet, I mean no awkward pauses or insults where being flung here and there, it must be a good sign right? He shrugged, flicking the empty tin can of red bull, that was on the table, with his little finger, and smiled as he gathered she didn’t get his ‘first time’ joke. Oh well, maybe next time, Jake thought. He couldn’t help it, his jokes never really made sense, they were just funny comments that were completely hilarious in his own mind. “True, though” He added to her comment about getting away with more, “You start to earn yourself reputation once you’ve been here more than once” He grinned, getting bored with his drink can and dropping his hand by his side.
“I won’t forget” He said, flashing that same flirtatious smile again and looking across at Holly again. “I promise” He added with a laugh, he would remember, but for how long was the question. “Prince Charming, what an excellent definition” He said, completely modestly, “Would you care to be my Princess?” He said through a chuckle, pushing his hair out of his eyes with one hand and shooting her another flirty grin. It hadn’t once occurred to him that he was flirting with both Holly and her younger brother, it was the moment that mattered. At this moment, he was with Holly in the café. Jake couldn’t help himself, he did find himself attracted to this girl, not that he wasn’t attracted to most people anyway, and he was determined to stick around. “You like to say you’re a singer?” He laughed, “Surely you are, and I bet you have an amazing voice” totally meaning to lay on the compliments, “I’m up for seeing you practice” He said, finishing with a smile. “Sexy guitarist would be absolutely correct babe” He said, smiling a little as she called him sexy, it wasn’t exactly doing his ego any favours. “I can totally picture us as a duet” he grinned, double meaning once again, but he was talking about both.

Happy with where this was going, she began to like Jake even more than she did already, she felt drawn to his personality and attitude even more and she didn't mind either; she might make a special friend or more than that from this conversation and she like the later one better. He was her kind of guy, cute and gorgeous with a smart sarcastic attitude to match. She didn't really understand why he was attempting to not laugh at his own "joke", what was so funny? or did she not catch on again like she usually did, she hated that she was so slow at things; maybe that's why people always said it was a good thing she was blonde. She shrugged off whatever seemed to be funny, she knew she would only make herself look stupid about a joke that was obviously supposed to be funny. "Reputations are so overrated" she muttered lazily, more people than should be allowed had so many reputations around here; good or bad. "but it's what the reputation is that counts, really" she smiled as he met his eyes with a coy wink.
She laughed at Jake's comical admiration of her quickly thought of pet name that she knew she would never use. "don't get too big headed now mister" she said loudly and sarcastically, she loves Jake's attitude, it was different to most guys at the camp and it made him stand out which was good. "I'll be your Princess any day" she uttered confidently as she twisted her hair around her finger in a flirtatious manner. " oh yeah, i have the worlds best voice ever" she muttered loudly, throwing her hands in the air like she was trying to make a big deal out of it. "and a duet, huh?" she asked slyly, knowing what he was meaning this time.... she hoped. "well how about this duet gets out of here to go do something fun, then? or would you rather stay and act like a kid?" she cheekily grinned

Jake grinned at Holly for what must’ve been the seventeenth time or something, hoping he wasn’t coming across as creepy. Although that didn’t really bother him. To his surprise she hadn’t got bored of him yet, and she seemed perfectly happy playing along with his flirting. Jacob had a good feeling about this, he was beginning to like this British girl even more, and her cute accent just made things even better. Laughing quietly as she said something about reputations he replied with another grin, “I guess, depends on whether or not you’ve had good reports or not” that didn’t really make that much sense, but he didn’t care. “I happen to have a brilliant reputation” He said, winking back at her, he was lying of course, but no one here would really know that. A few might, he had been going to camp for quite a while now, but it was only Holly’s second year.
“Me. Bigheaded. Never” He smiled, pushing his hair out of his eyes, and flashing another one of his flirtatious smiles at her. “It’s settled then, you’re my Princess” He grinned, feeling quite proud with himself for not fucking up his chance with Holly. Laughing again at her expression and actions Jake nudged himself closer to her, raising his eyebrows as she caught on to the duet implication. “We should totally be acting like the responsible young adults we are” He said with a nod, jumping of his chair and offering her his hand, getting a little impatient now, having used a lot of his energy on pointless conversation. “I say lets go do something fun” He said with another grin.
