Since arriving on the island, Logan had spent almost all of her time scurrying around the rocky hillside and taking photos of...well, everything. The lizards, the plants, the view of the ocean... she'd even gotten a few shots of people down in the camp it's self, unaware as they sunned themselves or rehearsed their instruments. She'd always found that to be the best kind of photograph, at least when it came to actual people. When someone posed for a picture, there was a kind of raw, natural element that got lost. That, and candid shots of people with mouthfuls of food or concentrating just that teeniest bit to hard were usually pretty fun to look back on.

Breathless from all of her energetic clambering over rocks, Logan eventually flopped down in a patch of dried out, yellowing grass, laying down on her back and closing her eyes tight against the harsh glare of the sun above her. She'd been at this for hours now, and in the hottest part of the day, too. She'd left her water bottle in the dorm room, deciding it was too heavy to carry with her. It hadn't exactly been one of her finest decisions.

As the fourteen-year-old's chest rose and fell with each ragged breath, her mind started to wander inexplicably to the little "contest" she'd signed up to on a whim. It had been more out of curiosity than anything that she'd wanted to take part, to find out what was so bad about the pictures that this guy, Tyson or something, didn't want anyone to see them. But now that she'd found out what the so-called task involved, she was pretty certain there was no way she would win. She didn't even know the person, how was she going to be able to get him to tell her stuff he hadn't even shared with his best friend? It didn't matter, of course, and Logan rolled her eyes a little in spite of herself. Why was she concerning herself with that now, when she was practically passing out on a mountain somewhere in the greek countryside?

Grabbing his towel off of the radiator where he normally kept it, Tyler slung it round his neck to make up for his lack of t-shirt and left the dorm. He didn’t bother closing the door behind him – Clarinet boy was in there and most of Team Auz was pretty laid back about their doors. His initial direction was towards the beach, but once he was half way there he decided to take a de-tour and walk across the island to the other side. The beach he had been originally heading towards was the one with the best waves on the island and he wasn’t in the mood for sulking about not being able to surf. He already had enough to sulk about on top of his lack of surf board.

After a while of walking, Tyler decided to sit down and have a rest. It was hot and he was sweating buckets. Although he’d been living in Australia for nearly a year now, and the temperature on this island was just a bit cooler, he wasn’t quite used to such high temperatures after being raised in good old permanently-partially-cloudy England. Settling down on a conveniently comfortable rock, he sprawled out his legs and chewed on the corner of his towel thoughtfully. His mind churned with Jared, Cass and Ciaran. He didn’t know what to think of any of the three at the moment, so he settled for hate, anger and uncertainty, respectively. Happy with that, he parcelled up the whole ordeal and shoved it into the back corner of his mind. Now a slightly less unpleasant but more urgent thought popped up. That stupid contest Cass had started. Chewing on his towel harder, he glared at a lizard that sat on a rock nearby.
“It’s so fucking stupid!” he muttered into his towel, frightening the lizard. It skittered off into the undergrowth.

Even in her current exhausted state, Logan managed to find the energy to scream as a lizard ran across her face. Well, who wouldn't? The girl's eyes flew open and she sat up, looking wildly around for a minute before she spotted a guy, maybe two or three years older than herself, sat on a rock a few feet away. From the look on his face, he wasn't exactly having a great time up here either. Using some of the energy that she'd apparently plucked from thin air after the lizard drama, Logan stood up, brushing some of the dry earth from her skinny-jeans and tank-top before she made her way over to him. Maybe he would have something to drink with him? though it didn't look particularly hopeful, considering all he had with him was a towel.

Logan dropped down onto the ground in front of him, and the camera on the strap around her neck bumped against her chest lightly. She studied his face for a moment. This guy looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place way. "Hey." she grinned, in her strange, hybrid accent. It was a mixture of North-London, where she'd spent the first eight years of her life, and Spanish. Though she was insistent that the Spanish part of her accent was very slight. "you seem cheerful, mi amigo". Sarcasm. Logan knew it was meant to be the lowest form of wit, or something, but it was a habit. She couldn't help making the odd sarcastic comment here and there."Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure it could be worse..."
