Not Your Average Twilight
In the beginning,he was feared. Wise men spoke of a deadly story that resulted shortly after the Earth's creation. A legend of tragedy and sin. The famous story, of brother killing brother, Caine killing Able. For Caine's sins a new creature stalks the night in pain. As time passed the story become a legend, a myth that hardly anyone believed.
As quickly as one can be skeptical of a myth one can realize it's reality. It quickly become known to James of France that this was not a legend. He can would tell you the story of his own transformation. The story of a man forced into the devil's path, the living dead.
Upon being bitten, he fell to knees in agony of his transformation. Who knew one's human's sin could create torment for the human race forever. A life of purgatory forever.
He was cursed. He was a vampire. One of Caine's children. Uriel left his curse. The other Archangles kept it.
In today’s world portraying a vampire is Hollywood’s gig. Bollywood won’t touch it for fear that the creatures would become offended. In this world vampires are romantic demons bent on murdering their prey in unfathomable blood lust. Yet of course, they love their prey and bring them to the other side.
Sin has all been forgotten and the original story has been lost. In the world of vampires, James claimed his fame to what could be seen a more powerful race of "leeches", one's that though they thirsted for the blood of humans refrained.
The Children of Caine oddly out number this new breed. It is too hard not to succumb to temptation. Maybe it’s because the "Twilighters" believe that the only thing that can live longer than them is love. To Caine’s Children this is a silly damnation to claim. Love another for what to be back stabbed with a stake? Ha! We’ve seen it happen so many times.
In Forks, Washington, such a coven, rumored to love humans and refrain from quenching their thirst with the blood of humans, is alive and well, feeding on animal blood. Admirably they hide themselves well.
This is where I come into the story of legend, my name is Lucien La Croix. I believe that one little coven of Vampires won’t run off a small claim to gather my brothers and sisters, as I reopen my Raven, a nightclub, in Forks. Yes, a night club with both drinks for vampires and drinks for humans. It is delightful. I wonder if some are cursed with a greater blood lust, some can hardly control themselves. It’s such a pity, really.
Now I’m in Forks and have found this delightful young man by the name of James. He claimed the Cullens, the coven that feeds off these absurd ideas, tried to kill him.
There is an unspoken war between these children of Caine and Twilighters. It seems that they aren't the smartest coven though. They didn't even know how to kill their own kind. I have to admit when I heard this I could not refrain from a full hearted or as close to a vampire has, laugh.
In the words of wisdom and ancient mythical realms, the people of Forks watch your back. Monsters are coming and I don’t think a wine glass filled with Red Cross blood is going to appease them.
